After all the re-releases, we felt like we should return triumphantly with an all-new track, Where is the one. As ever, radio stations were ambivalent, but we started to get more attention from music TV and newer 'alternative' stations like Xfm.

Release dates came and went, and then in the autumn of 1998 we were offered a slot on the National Lottery show and the single was pulled (see Waiting for this for the whole story). Since we had made lots of copies of the single, we decided to send it out to ALAN to thank them for their patience.

The singles have some interesting features, such as the various lyric edits on Where is the one (we had trouble with references to 'cancer' and 'cervixes'), the curious Sleep tight, which was recorded in 1994, and the alternative doo-wop version of Where is the one, which is extremely silly.
